Project Overview
DPF Engineering was established in Carlow in 2003 and has developed into one of Irelands leading Sub-Contract companies. To grow the business further, the Managing Director wished to break into the Aerospace supply chain and so needed to gain certification to AS9100 Rev C.
DPF Engineering had already implemented a quality management system that satisfied the requirements of ISO 9001 : 2008. We were approached by DPF to upgrade their existing quality management system and help them gain certification to AS9100 Rev C.
This project focused on streamlining the existing ISO 9001 : 2008 certified quality management system and bolting on the requirements of AS9100. The project commenced in October 2013 and the system was upgraded over the course of the following months. Upon completion of the AS9100 compliant management system, we delivered training to DPF’s management team in December 2013. This training focused on the practicality of managing the upgraded system and how best to prepare for the audit process. The system was rolled out within the company in January 2014 and DPF successfully achieved certification to AS9100 Rev C in May 2014.
